Hacienda San José Cholul is part of the haciendas Luxury Collection of Yucatan since it represents luxury, privacy, and elegance. This hacienda has very emblematic colors such as blue and yellow, which distinguish it from other haciendas. On this occasion, Vanessa & Jordan chose to celebrate their marriage and live an unforgettable night.
Encounter as a wedding style…
Vanessa is an American girl with Latin parents and Jordan is a young American man with Italian parents. They are a multicultural couple who chose from their culture the most representative to create a unique wedding: an encounter style wedding.
A style with tropical touches and very Mexican details was what made this wedding have a magical decoration. The furniture had a rustic style and very neutral tones that gave a touch of sobriety to the decoration.
The floral decoration was focused on the Mexican style, using very lively tones such as yellow, red, and green. We could see cactus and succulents that together with the natural pottery made a decoration worthy of a very fun and unique wedding.
Mariachis, traditional food, a spectacular banquet!
When the guests arrived at the reception, the couple offered everyone a shot of pottery with Mexican details, which they used for the toast.
The dinner was a delightful surprise for several guests, for many of them it was the perfect opportunity to taste for the first time a regional menu. There were also mariachis that complemented the romantic evening with their traditional music.
The dance floor was designed in white, with the monogram of Vanessa & Jordan’s. Simple yet elegant. After dinner, the party started with Vanessa and Jordan having their first dance as husband and wife and from there they danced until dawn.
One of the most emotional moments of the night was when Jordan’s grandfather requested a microphone and as a surprise, he began to sing a beautiful melody in honor of the new couple. They along with some accompanists were thrilled to be part of this moment.
A very important detail of this ceremony is that Vanessa and Jordan selected as their wedding date the same day that Jordan’s grandfather and father selected for their own wedding, June 30th. Which made them the third generation in getting married on this special date.
