Hacienda Chichí Suárez is an old building that, despite not having been restored, preserves a colonial essence and decorative elements that give it a unique beauty. The main house has a large neoclassical pediment and numerous columns that together with the architecture of the hacienda give an «eclectic» style influenced by various trends, mainly neoclassical.
Karla & Carsten chose to bring modernity and style to the hacienda’s wide-open spaces. They chose wooden furniture with modern chairs and tables accompanied by white, beige, and blue tones that together with the cascading lighting, offered a romantic and elegant ambiance.
The guests, upon arrival, were led to the ceremony site which was held facing the chapel in one of the open spaces of the hacienda, the furniture was simple, with rows of white seats and a wooden aisle in the middle to match the whole style of the wedding.
At the end of the ceremony, the bride and groom invited the guests to the stairs of the hacienda where a welcome cocktail and some snacks were offered.
When the time for the reception arrived all the guests were moved to the powerhouse area, a space in the hacienda with old stone walls where a rustic setup with simple and elegant touches decorated the space in a completely harmonious way.
The newlyweds waited until everyone was in place before making their grand entrance to the applause of their guests. The couple made their way to the dance floor and offered a few words of thanks to everyone present, who in some cases had traveled great distances to share this special day with them.
Dinner began to be served and some foreign guests were surprised to taste the delicious dishes chosen by the couple. After dinner, the first dance music began to play and with a smile of complicity, Karla and Carsten went to the dance floor where they gave the guests an emotional moment full of love, as if they were the only ones in the place, the couple enjoyed and sang to the rhythm of the song they chose.
Karla’s dad approached and asked for his daughter’s hand while Carsten’s mom also came to the dance floor to dance with her son. Both couples danced and enjoyed this moment full of love.
The party started and we could see all the guests approaching the dance floor to enjoy the joyful Mexican atmosphere, we could see some guests with wrestler masks showing their best dance steps.
For the bouquet and garter moment, we could see Carsten in the air thanks to his friends, who happily congratulated him and cheered him on. The celebration continued and all the time we saw the couple having a great time and enjoying the first day of the rest of their lives.
