Gay Wedding at Chablé Resort 🌈 Arturo & Rob

Arturo and Rob are a Mexican-American couple who, during a visit to their family in the state, fell in love with one of the most luxurious resorts in Yucatán: Chable Resort Yucatan. Immediately they knew that it was the perfect place to celebrate their gay wedding. Here is their story.

Arturo and Rob arrived a few days earlier to Yucatan and immediately settled in Chablé Resort so they could enjoy all the exclusivity and perks that the Chable Resorts had to offer. 

One day before the destination wedding, their family and close friends also arrived at the resort to stay with them, in preparation for the big day. The rest of the guests that arrived later, stayed at a 5-star hotel in downtown Merida.

The morning of the wedding Arturo and Rob prepped themselves for a relaxing moment with a couple’s massage, followed by a tour of the Chable Hotel Yucatan. Once it ended, they needed to go to their presidential suite where everything was ready for them to dress-up for their ceremony. 

They enjoyed an intimate moment helping each other to get their look for wedding perfect. Arturo looked fantastic wearing a blue jacket suit with black details and black pants. His shoes were blue to match his outfit, as well as his bow tie that resembled bird feathers; a magnificent detail. 

Rob, on the other hand, looked more handsome than ever rocking a black tuxedo that was fitted perfectly to his body. Both of them wore smiles on their faces and as time was passing by, they were growing more excited to be at the altar saying their vows.

Gay wedding ceremony

Finally, It was time for the ceremony. The guests staying at the resort were the first to arrive. Meanwhile, the ones staying downtown had private transportation that helped them get just in time to be greeted with a beverage station where they could enjoy a mimosa or a chilled natural coconut marked with the couple’s initials. 

The ceremony took place in front of one of the emblematic wedding areas, the gates of the hacienda, that got filled with subtle decorations, making it looked breathtaking. Once everyone had taken their place in front of it, the couple – who were secretly waiting in one of the hacienda’s buildings –   began to walk down the large white aisle. 

The ceremony was brief but full of feelings and Rob’s brother was in charge of conducting it. With a few words, he managed to bring tears not only to the couple but also to the rest of the attendees, who were more than happy for the both of them.

The couple exchanged vows and with that, the proclamation of their love was settled. A kiss at the end brought cheers from the audience.

When the ceremony gates opened, it was time for everyone to move from the ceremony to the cocktail area. The couple was the first to be greeted by high tables in white and gold tones that awaited the rest of the attendees.

At the cocktail area, Cello music cheered up the guests who enjoyed some canapés and magnificent drinks. To one side, an elegant mirror hid a secret, it was a specially designed mirror that took photos within itself, no more need to take mirror-selfies! You only had to smile at the mirror so the photo could be immediately taken. It was the perfect tool to create priceless memories. 

At the end of the cocktail, everyone was guided to the reception where they were welcomed with a huge wall full of champagne glasses. The reception was designed to be elegant and full of gold and white shades to help highlight the glass and marble-topped tables, that were the base for hundreds of flowers in shades of white and green.  

For dinner, live stations were ready to serve lobster, steaks, seafood, and Yucatecan food. The guest’s palettes were definitely ready to be pampered by tons of delicious food.

The parents of Arturo & Rob found the perfect time to share a few words with everyone present. They were very proud to see how their sons were living the moment they dreamt of for a long time in the company of all their loved ones. 

Once their parents were over, Arturo went on to say a few words of thank you to everyone present at the wedding. After he ended, alongside Rob he went on to cut the cake while their guests were waiting patiently for their turn to enjoy some sweets.

Before the party officially started, Rob asked Arturo to dance with him, and together they opened the dance floor with the first dance. At the end of it, Rob asked his mother to dance with him as well so they could enjoy a private son-mother time.

After him, Arturo and his mom showed the Latin blood that runs through their veins dancing under a bachata. They lit up the dance floor and the spirits of their guests that were ready to jump to the dance floor and join them.
