Ceremony at Hacienda Chichi Suarez 💙 Karla & Carsten
Just as the distance was not an impediment for Karla, from Mexico and Carsten, from Germany, to meet on the road and fall in love, the distance was not an impediment for them to have the wedding of their dreams in Merida, Yucatan.
We had the honor of accompanying them in the organization of their wedding and keeping the vision and style they were looking for, Hacienda Chichí Suarez was the perfect place for their wedding.
Karla & Carsten chose to have an intimate outdoor religious ceremony in one of the gardens of the Hacienda, which features a neoclassical stone chapel.
With this beautiful construction in the background, the guests waited in their seats for the ceremony to begin. The priest welcomed all the attendees and after the initial blessing, the cortege entered led by Carsten accompanied by his mother and behind him, his godparents, at the end came Karla hand in hand with her father, who excitedly accompanied her to the altar and gave her hand to Carsten.
The ceremony went perfectly, the readings were read, the psalms were read and when it was time for the celebration of the marriage, the priest asked all the godparents to come forward to bless the elements, offered some emotional words, and blessed the ribbon, the arras and the rings that were later given to the couple.
All the godparents had the opportunity to dedicate some touching words and wished happiness and prosperity to the couple in their new life together.
The ceremony concluded and Carsten was finally able to kiss his beautiful wife as a seal of their love. The newlyweds invited all the attendees to go to the welcome cocktail area where they were invited to a couple of snacks and drinks, located under the stairs of the main house of the Hacienda, and then they were taken to their seats at the reception where the memorable party would begin.
