Natural and mystical environment
A wooden platform was the base for what was to come after the ceremony, accompanied by rustic wooden tables with floral decorations that set the mood of the place. Being a midday event, the decoration was inspired by keeping everything as natural as possible so that everything looked in harmony.ย
For many guests, it was a surprise to have the opportunity to attend a wedding in a cenote, as many people had never had the opportunity to visit one before. At the end of the ceremony, everyone took their place at the reception, sparkling wine was served and the family made an emotional toast to the couple.ย
Banquet with traditional flavors
The banquet consisted of a wide variety of Yucatecan food selected by the bride and groom. Sopa de lima (lime soup) and the traditional cochinita pibil were the dishes that the guests were able to enjoy. At the center of the tables, they could taste Yucatecan snacks such as empanadas de chaya and vaporcitos.ย
Many of the attendees were surprised by the delicious taste of these proudly Yucatecan dishes that they had not been fortunate enough to try before.ย
At the end of the meal, a round of desserts was served, and the guava cheesecake and queso de bola were paraded among the guests, which delighted more than one of them.ย
Amazing dancing!
In the reception there was a space left for the dance floor where Ale and Carlos went and delighted everyone with the choreography they practiced for that day, the couple was happy to be able to share that moment with all their loved ones while they danced and enjoyed the moment.ย

Mariachi and love
The party could not end without the traditional mariachi. On the stairs the trumpets and guitars of a classical, mariachi began to sound, no one could believe that in a cenote they would be enjoying the mariachi music.ย
At first, they played songs to sing at the top of their lungs but in a moment the songs began to become very moving and danceable, all the guests stopped to enjoy the rhythm of the mariachi melodies celebrating the love of Alejandra and Carlos.
