Destination Wedding at Hacienda Chichi Suarez 💙 Karla y Carsten
When two people are destined to be together not even the distance can prevent this from happening. This is the case of Karla and Carsten, a German and Mexican couple, who found in Merida, Yucatan the perfect place to consolidate their love story.
Accompanied by all their family and loved ones they celebrate their love at Hacienda Chichi Suarez.
A meeting full of emotion
They stayed at a hotel in Mérida where they did their getting ready while maintaining the air of mystery, as each got dressed up in a different room. Karla chose an up-do to frame her face and a beautiful white lace princess cut dress, while Carsten opted for an elegant blue suit with a white shirt and matching blue tie. Once ready, they were driven to the Hacienda, ready to begin the most special day of their lives.
Upon arriving at the wedding venue, the bride and groom proceeded to have their First Look. In one of the corridors of the hacienda, Carsten was anxiously waiting for his future wife and could not hold back his tears of happiness when he saw her arrive looking spectacular.
After this intimate and magical moment, they were joined by their immediate family for a family photo session.
Religious ceremony surrounded by love and friendship
At the hacienda Chichi Suarez, the guests were waiting for the religious ceremony to begin, which started with the initial welcome and blessing by the priest followed by the entrance of the procession, presided by Carsten accompanied by his mother and behind him his godparents, at the end of the procession came Karla holding her father’s hand, who walked with her until she reached the altar and gave her hand to Carsten.
When it was time for the wedding celebration, the priest asked all the groomsmen to come forward to bless the elements such as the ribbon, the arras, the rings, which were then given to the couple.
All of them dedicated some touching words and wished them the best of success in the new stage of their life together. At the end of the ceremony the couple left ready and eager to celebrate their new union and share their happiness with all their guests.
A celebration with lots of color and fun
At the end of the ceremony, guests were directed to a welcome cocktail party located under the stairs of the main house of the Hacienda. Wooden tables with flowers in white tones gave life to the space and the dozens of light bulbs falling from the trees created the perfect romantic atmosphere.
With all the guests in their seats, the couple made their entrance to the reception and we could see Carsten changed his suit for a white guayabera with blue tones, a typical garment of our state. Amidst applause and the affection of their friends and family, the couple went straight to the dance floor where they offered a few words of thanks and affection to their guests for having made the trip to their wedding.
Dinner began to be served and it was impossible not to notice the faces of the foreign guests as they tasted the delicious dishes that the couple had selected. At the end of the dinner, the music was not long in coming and the bride and groom opened the dance floor where you could see the complicity between them and the happiness they shared with their almost 100 guests.
The party kicked off and we could see everyone getting closer to the dance floor and enjoying this party with a Mexican flair, as many guests were having fun wearing luchador masks while dancing. By the time of the bouquet and the garter, the party atmosphere was in full swing and we could see Carsten flying through the air as his friends carried and tossed him around to celebrate.
Without a doubt, it was a memorable celebration where love and joy could be felt in the air.
