Destination Wedding in Hacienda Sac Chich 🌺 Jade & Justin
This couple from Los Angeles, California was captivated by Hacienda Sac Chich, a venue where they and their small group of guests enjoyed a unique space in the world.
After 2 years of planning, they were finally able to enjoy one of the most special days of their lives.
Wearing a lace trumpet cut dress with her hair down, Jade surprised Justin who wore a black smokes that made him look amazing. The bridesmaids wore a wine colored dress and the groomsmen wore a black tuxedo.
The beginning of a great day
Before the ceremony Jade and Justin had their first meeting, a moment in which both were surprised and exchanged glances of complicity and love. The couple took a few pictures in different parts of the hacienda to immortalize this special day.
Because it was a small wedding, the couple chose to have the reception at “Casa Vieja” leaving the garden of “Casa Sisal” for the ceremony. The guests began to arrive in the transportation that the couple hired to take them from Mérida, all of them were welcomed with fresh water.
Once the guests took their places, the cortege was ready to begin their walk down the aisle. The first to appear on the arm of his mom and sister was Justin who walked happily down the aisle, followed by the couple’s best friends. At the end Jade waited with her mother to dazzle everyone.
A spiritual promise
The ceremony was a Mayan ceremony that was explained in English to those present so they could understand a little of the culture and all the spirituality that encompasses this ceremony, from the meaning of each element or each moment. Under the blessing of the Mayan priest the couple exchanged rings and vows, a moment that made both of them very happy. To end the ceremony all the attendees toasted with “Balché”, a sacred drink of the Mayas that purifies the soul.
Once the celebration was over, the guests went to the pool area to enjoy a refreshing cocktail accompanied by trova music. While they enjoyed this moment the couple relaxed and went for Jorja, their 1 year old daughter who accompanied them to celebrate their love.
The 3 arrived at the cocktail party where they were greeted with much love by the attendees.
Ready for the party?
When the reception was ready all the guests went to enjoy this area decorated with tropical touches, the couple entered the reception accompanied by fireworks that gave way to the great dinner.
The flavors that everyone enjoyed were 100% Mexican flavors since it was an Oaxacan menu with local touches, something that everyone loved and left with a good taste in their mouths.
At the end of the dinner, the first dance opened the dance floor for all the guests to enjoy the great atmosphere that the wedding had.
