Destination Wedding at Hacienda Sac Chich 👩❤️👨 Karen & Pierre
Karen and Pierre, a Mexican – French couple decided to celebrate their Catholic wedding in Yucatan. Making sure that Karen’s family and friends could be there with them and share unforgettable moments by their side.
A time to relax with friends
The wedding day arrived and Karen, her bridesmaids, and her best friend gathered in the hacienda suite to start with their Getting Ready.
For her make-up, Karen wore a very natural style while her hair was picked up by a braid accompanied by a headdress of natural flowers along with the veil. This made Karen look amazing and complemented her dress with transparencies, long sleeves, and lace.
Meanwhile, Pierre chose to wear a sandy suit and a white shirt. Once the both of them were ready, they set off for the church in Merida. Each of them traveled in a different car, accompanied by their family as they had decided beforehand to not see each other until the ceremony.
A ceremony multicultural full of love
The first one to enter was Pierre alongside his mother. Then it was the turn for Karen’s mother and Pierre’s father and so on until everyone was inside. Karen was the last one to enter, walking towards the altar in the hands of her father.
Since it was a Catholic ceremony, we listened to the traditional readings, the psalm, and the rite of marriage. The priest then asked the couple if they were getting married of their own free will and once both replied that they did, they exchanged their vows and rings.
Before the ceremony ended, Karen’s grandmother came to give the blessing to her granddaughter. A moment that filled the bride with happiness.
By the end of the ceremony, all the attendees cheered for the new couple who happily left the church and invited their guests to move to the hacienda, where a welcome cocktail and reception awaited them.
The cocktail was accompanied by French wines and filled with the atmosphere of marimba music that combined two cultures in a very unique way.
A reception of dreams
The couple took a moment to have their photo-shoot in different areas of the hacienda while their guests enjoyed the cocktail. Once the photo-shoot was over, the couple gave a few words of thanks to their guests and invited them to go to the garden to enjoy a nice evening.
There, a very rustic reception was waiting for them, natural wood tables and a buffet full of delicious food.
The buffet was Yucatecan food, flavors that both Mexicans and French enjoyed very much. For desserts, they enjoyed ice cream of different flavors that sweetened the evening of the guests.
At the end of the dinner, the couple asked for some of their family and friends to dedicate a few words to them. The words drew smiles to the couple’s faces and made everyone cheer.
After this moment ended, it was time for the first dance. The couple decided to dance to their favorite track and then proceed to have a dance with their parents. Once it was over, the guest joined them on the dance floor to enjoy the music and have a dance until they couldn’t anymore.
It was a night that everyone will remember.
