Antiguamente era llamada la Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Buen Viaje, cuenta la historia que era por la posición cerca del camino real de Campeche y las diligencias que pasaban por ahí, paraban para rogarle a la Virgen que ahí albergaba y que les proporcionaría protección durante su largo viaje, actualmente su nombre se debe a la madre de San Juan Bautista y aunque no se conoce la fecha de su fundación, es representativa del siglo XVII. read more[...]
