Details at Cenote X’batun 💙 Erizol & Christian
Erizol and Christian decided to perform their ceremony in one of the most ancestral and magical sites that Mexico has to offer, the Cenotes.
They chose Cenote X’batun, an open type cenote that it’s reached by going down a natural slope. The surrounding vegetation offers shelter to a wide variety of endemic species of birds that adorn the environment with their melodies and colorful plumage, it is located less than an hour from the city of Merida in the municipality of San Antonio Mulix.
Once the ceremony was over, the guests took their place at the reception. A space with neutral tones and harmonious decoration that contrasted with the bright tones of the vegetation.
Magical flavors in a magical place
The meal was based on a 100% Yucatecan menu. The guests enjoyed a delicious lime soup and for the main course, they could choose between a delicious cochinita or baked suckling pig to finish with a local dessert.
Once the meal was over, the couple moved to the dance floor to give us their first dance as husband and wife in an atmosphere of love and relaxation.
Beautiful and unforgettable memories
After the first dance, the party began. All the guests came to dance with the couple, who after a few hours of fun and dancing decided they wanted to swim in the waters of the spectacular cenote and have an unforgettable photo session in the water.
Erizol and Christian entered the water and immortalized the most special day of their lives with beautiful photos in the crystal clear water and the beautiful natural environment. After the party, Erizol went to change into a second dress, a more vaporous lace dress with transparencies. Upon returning, the couple continued dancing until a surprise arrived.
The surprise of the night
A group of mariachis arrived and began to play. They went down the stairs little by little until they reached the reception area. All the guests were surprised and were encouraged to sing and dance to the sound of the Mexican mariachi. At the end of the mariachi, the event came to an end and the guests began to take their transportation back to Mérida to continue enjoying the evening.
